- If you didn’t see my Super Bowl Live Blog or post-Super Bowl post on AdamNPooZ.com go check them out now. I’m working on the latest edition of the AdamNPooZ.com Podcast, which recaps the Super Bowl, and I’ll post it later today.
- Jameer Nelson apparently is going to be out for awhile with a torn labrum, which opens up a spot on the Eastern Conference All-Star team. I know when I posted my All-Star picks last week, I said Ray Allen should be in over Mo Williams, but I really want to see Mo get Nelson’s spot.
- The Mets finally locked up Oliver Perez, meaning they go into 2009 with a pretty good rotation. I know Perez wasn’t always great in 2008, but New York got him back at a decent price, and didn’t have to go to a fourth year on the contract, which is always a deal-breaker for average to above average pitchers.
- The Cavs host the Raptors tonight going for a 23-0 start at home this season. I’m amazed that Cleveland still hasn’t lost a home game, but they haven’t played Orlando or the Lakers at home yet, so don’t count on 41-0 just yet.
